Have Your Say

Why Support Us?

A full planning application for the proposed new Lidl supermarket has been submitted to Kirklees Council, who will make a decision on whether to approve the store proposals.

Our previous application was well supported by the local community and many people contacted the council to express that support. However, as this is a new planning application all letters and emails sent to the council previously will not be taken into account this time.

Therefore, if you want our project to be successful, it is vitally important that you make your views known so that they can be taken into account when the Council’s Planning Committee decides whether to approve or refuse the application.

If you are able to spend a few minutes sending an email or a letter it could make all the difference to the outcome. For details of how to do this, see the 'How to support us' section below.

Please pass this information on to your local friends and neighbours if you think they will be interested.

As with all developments there will be people who are for and people who are against the development and it is very important that you have your say. We would ask those people who have concerns about the proposals to contact us by emailing scott@royalpilgrim.com. We will then seek to address these wherever possible.
